What is The Nail Lab's stance on Privacy?

TNL respects and actively protects your online privacy. Your private details will remain just that - private. The following Privacy Statement sets out the different types of information we collect, why we collect it and what you can do if you would like to remove yourself from a mailing list or change any details we may hold. What information does The Nail Lab collect?

There are a couple of different types of information that The Nail Lab may collect to make your shopping and browsing experience more enjoyable.

Firstly, if you sign up as a member, we will collect your name, country of origin, and email address. If you elect to receive our newsletter, your email address will be added to our mailing list. We will only use your e-mail address for that purpose, you will not be put on the mailing lists of any third parties, and neither your email address nor your name or country will not be divulged to anyone else. We will only use these details to post to you about new developments, products, news and events. Removing yourself from the mailing list will also be easy - just click on the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any of our emails.

Order information such as your name, billing address, delivery address, email address and phone number are collected in order to effect delivery of the products that you order, and to contact you in regard to your order if necessary. These details are retained in our database for record keeping purposes. If you have registered as a member, you can change or delete these details at any time by logging in using your email address and password, and then going to the Modify Details section.

Any other information you provide at the checkout, such as comments or survey responses, are used to better plan future items to add and developments for the web site.
General site traffic data is also collected for the purpose of site maintenance and improvement. This provides only generalised information about how often certain pages are viewed. This does not identify individual users, but instead helps us to understand what sorts of products our customers are interested in, and alerts us to any areas of the site that may be difficult to navigate.

Product Returns
When a product has been opened, used and/or tested, and the product is not faulyt; a refund cannot be given. Please choose carefully as we do not refund for change of mind purchases, however we happily exchange for incorrectly supplied products if a product is unopened, undamaged and in it's original condition.

Buyers must provide the return shipping cost for exchange. All shipping costs are non-refundable.

Any products which are found to be faulty are eligible for a full refund. Any product for refund/exchange must be received within 14 days of original delivery. All products being returned must be securely packed to ensure the package is fully protected. The Nail Lab Pty Ltd will not be reponsible for packaging negligence unless the item/s being returned was originally damaged.

No refund, exchnage or return policy applies to special offers, clearance offers or sale items.

If you need to return goods to us, please follow these 2 steps:
1. Contact us via email to request a product return or refund at info@thenaillab.com.au. We will endeavour to respond to your email within 60 minutes of receipt during business hours.
2. Pack and seal the items in their original shipping package and post it back to us (address will be supplied after return email has been received and processed.)
What happens next?
Provided that we receive the products in their original UNUSED and UNOPENED condition, we will arrange for the original purchase price (excluding delivery fee) to be refunded to the original bank account or PAYPAL account. Please allow up to 14 days from the date we receive the returned goods for the refund to be processed.

If you return a used item to us (for reason of allergy or other reaction), we will pass your name and contact information to the relevenat manufacturer so that they can contact you if need be to ascertain more information about any problems you experienced with the product.

What about links to other sites?

The TNL site will from time to time contain hyperlinks to other sites both in Australia and abroad. TNL cannot be responsible for the data protection and privacy practices of these sites. We urge users to take time to examine individual privacy policies and guidelines on other sites.
